Fundraising

We are always looking for ideas and help with fundraising. Anything and everything! Supermarket back packing events, craft fairs, raffles, auctions, or donated items which we can raffle or auction. Most of our volunteers and trustees spend all their spare time organising rescues, caring for hens unable to be rehomed, accounts, emails... the list goes on. We are never short of ideas for fundraising; just time! Do you have any spare time to help us?

Spread The Love

Advertising

You could help to advertise by putting up posters in your local vet, supermarket pet shop or feed store. Please email us on info@wingandaprayerhenrescue.scot and we can send you posters the share either digitally or in print.

Social Media

We have very active social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter which help promote the rescue. You can help enormously just by liking, reacting, sharing or commenting on our social media posts to help us create a larger base of followers and help get the word out to more people. More followers = more hens rehomed.

Volunteer

We are completely reliant on volunteers to keep WAAP going, and so we are enormously grateful to everyone who can help. There are a wide range of volunteer duties and there is usually something to fit all abilities and availabilities. 

 We always need lots of helpers for rescue days, either to provide a vehicle, collect hens or help at the collection points to check and send hens off to their new homes.
